The Make-up look to LOVE This Valentines Day
Valentines Day is fast approaching! Whether you’re off on a romantic date or having a night out with the girls, be sure to try these ‘pretty in pink’ products that are perfect for feeling flirty this Valentines.
The shade Sunrise is perfect when used on the eyelids to create a soft peachy base to your eye look. With gold and coral shimmery tones, create a more soft but radiant sparkle. This blush is also great for using in the crease of the eye lids to create more of an impact. For more definition we’d switch to Sunset and apply this shade to the apples of the cheeks for a more romantic rosy look.
Romantic Rose just screams Valentines Day doesn’t it? Romantic – Tick. Rose – Yes please! So, we found that the Lord & Berry Lip Liner in Romantic Rose is quite fitting for such an occasion. Whether you’re going on a date or having a night out with your single ladies, this lip liner creates a bolder and plumper lip look. Our top tip for creating luscious lips is to trace the outline of the lips then blend slightly into the edges of the lips for prime time definition.
Create the perfect couple and pair your Lip Liner with Lord & Berry’s Skin Lip Gloss. Our favourite shade, Ampere, boasts a beautifully sheer colour to create a luminous shine on the lips. After applying the lip liner, place a generous layer of lip-gloss to the centre of the bottom lip. This may seem slightly controversial as the norm is to apply like a lipstick, but we find placing in the centre of the lip gives us an even lip look. Finish by rubbing the lips together to create an evenly distributed coat of gloss.
As much of a lash fan as we are, these Ardell Wispies Cluster lashes are a cut above the rest. And as a cluster lash, each section is closer together to ditch the limp lash look. We add a layer of glue to the base of the strip lash then wait 30 seconds before applying to the lash line. These wispy lashes make a glam impact on the eyes to turn heads on Valentines Day.
